Cubed Monkey was founded with the intention of having fun and promoting creativity. After being restrained by the average and dull expectations of corporate America, Cubed Monkey’s founders set out to create a company where both their talent and creativity could flow freely.

We don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions to fit every client or campaigns that bore your audience. We do believe in fresh, out of the box ideas that work.

Meet the Alpha Monkey

My name is Jack Behar and I am the founder and creative lead of Cubed Monkey. I decided to give life to the ape after a 5 year run as a Sr. Art Director for a major marketing firm. During these five years, under eye piercing fluorescent lights and smothered by the stark gray maze of cubicles, my creativity and passion for design began to suffer. I, of course, was directed by committees and acronym throwing account managers who had no clue about web standards, usability or quality design. I knew that I had to make a change before allowing corporate America to contribute to the resentment of an industry that I had so much passion for. The solution was simple, start a web design company and a partnership with two other monkeys. We now live by one motto: “Design creative web sites, remain true to usability standards — and have fun!”

Ok, maybe I’m not just a monkey ...

I have over 12 years experience in the marketing, graphic design and web design arena. I have worked for major clients such as Nextel, Universal Pictures, Proctor & Gamble and the New York Knicks. I have won numerous Addy and Webby Awards, as well as being published in various books and editorials.
